FIRESTONE’S WOWS THE FOODIES FOR RESTAURANT WEEK

Food Blogger  “Honey I shrunk the Gretchen” had the delicious opportunity to enjoy the sneak peek of Frederick’s Restaurant Week and made a stop at Firestone’s for a tasting along with many other food writers, editors and bloggers.  Firestone’s was the restaurant she was most excited about trying and was truly “NOT DISAPPOINTED.”  Some favorite tastes … the hanger steak with sautéed mushrooms, broccolini and a potato dish with mandolin-thin sliced potatoes, layered in delicious flavors and compressed and baked.  “It was OMG good…still thinking about it!”  And one of the dessert tastings, a Firestone’s take on “Jack and Coke” with their own house-made Jack Daniels ice cream was delicious. The icecream is sold next door at The Market!

Kelly Fiore experiences Firestone’s during Frederick Restaurant Week’s Sneak Peek …  She boldly says “FIRESTONES has a lot going for it — it’s location is right off Market and West Patrick, landing it smack-dab in the middle of the Downtown Frederick arena. It has a bar that people flock to on weekends and holidays. It has beautiful balcony-style dinner seating, which overlooks both the restaurant itself and the street outside, providing you with amazing entertainment and people watching. But above and beyond all of that, FIRESTONES has excellent food. Really, really excellent.
