How would you describe your menu? 

Seasonally influenced with a focus on local ingredients … a perfect balance of choices that is ever-changing with what is freshly available and the creativity of the chefs.

Do you offer vegetarian and vegan dishes?

Yes.  Our evolving menu always features at least one vegetarian dish.  And we happily accommodate any dietary needs of our customers if not shown on our menu.

Where did the name “Culinary Tavern” come from?

In an effort to have our name fully describe who we are … Firestone’s Culinary Tavern was born.  It is derived from the British term “gastronomic” meaning the preparation of delightful food and the term “public house” meaning a drinking establishment open to the public.  Culinary Tavern is our own personal American version that we feel sounds delicious and inviting!

Is the full menu available from the bar?

Our complete menu is available wherever you are comfortable at Firestone’s, whether in the dining area or the bar.

Are reservations necessary?

Reservations can be made directly through our website homepage and opentable.com

Does the restaurant host private parties?

We have a semi-private area of our dining room that accommodates up to ten people and we are happy to make your party special and festive!

How many people does Firestone’s seat?

Our dining room seats 48 people, the bar seats 22 and the lounge area can accommodate between 20 and 35 people.

Where should customer’s park convenient to the restaurant?

There is a lot of street parking available around the restaurant with free meters after 5 p.m.  In addition, the Church Street Parking Garage is actually located at our closest cross street on Church Street … very convenient walking distance.

Do you charge a corkage fee?

We are happy to offer wine service for bottles not represented on our wine list.  The charge is $20 fee per 750ml bottle and one bottle per every 2 guests.

Are Firestone’s Gift Certificates available?

Absolutely! They can be purchased through the Bar Staff or one can be mailed directly to you by calling the restaurant during regular business hours.
